Do you have climate-controlled units?

Yes. Each unit has an evaporative cooler to control humidity, not temperature. While temperatures may get high in a unit, it is the dryness, or lack of moisture that can damage your valuables. Evaporative coolers keep humidity at proper levels.

Does A-Able provide locks?

You receive a high-quality disk lock with your admit fee. No one else has a key to that lock-just you. If you prefer to provide your own lock you’re welcome to do so. Regardless, for security purposes, a disk lock is mandatory.

Does A-Able have access to my unit?

No. You are the only one with access to your unit.

What’s a drive-up unit?

Drive-up units are accessed from the outside. Drive up, open your roll-up door and you have convenient access to load or unload.

What’s a roll-up door?

Roll-up doors are like garage doors – they roll up overhead for easy access. They’re usually wider than swing doors, so it’s easy to move things in and out.

Do you offer RV/boat/car/motorcycle parking?

We do have 500 sq. ft. of outdoor parking space available for larger boats and RV’s. Our longer storage units are certainly capable of storing automobiles and boats. Keep in mind that all roll-up doors are a maximum of 71/2’ high. This precludes storing larger boats and RV’s inside a unit.

How far in advance can I reserve a storage unit?

You can reserve your unit up to 30 days before you move in.

Can I rent month-to-month or do you require a long-term agreement?

Month to month is fine. No long-term agreements are necessary.

What about moving out? Do you need advance notice?

No advance notice is necessary. You can let us know on your move-out day. When you vacate your unit be sure the unit is left unlocked.
